The project railway line traverses approximately 285 kilometers from Yen Vien Station near Hanoi to Ho Kieu Bridge of Lao Cai Province on the border with the People’s Republic of China.

The Project works included

  • the realignment of approximately 9 km of track,

  • slope protection works alongside approximately 10 km of track,

  • rehabilitation of 71 existing bridges,

  • construction of 9 new bridges,

  • upgrading of 16 stations,

  • construction of 1 new station and

  • renewal of approximately 224 km of track.

CECI led the Consultant Team in reviewing the Project's previously completed Feasibility Study and Preliminary Design, and subsequently carried out the detailed design and preparation of tender documents for construction work.
