Project Overview
Tap water supply facilities are an essential part of infrastructure for urban metropolitan areas and the 360 meter long Xindian Creek Aqueduct Bridge with its three red shiny Langer Type steel arches was the first large-scale aqueduct bridge in Taiwan and the largest in diameter in the world at the time of its accomplishment.
The maximum daily water supply through this aqueduct is about 196 tons, which is a major part of Taipei's tap water system.
