Project Overview

The Third LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Receiving Terminal is being built in response to the growing demands of the market of natural gas for the Client (CPC Corporation, Taiwan) as well as the future needs of the public and industries.

 

Situated in Taoyuan Industrial Park, the project scope covers the design and construction supervision services for port construction and reclamation works of the LNG Receiving Terminal.

The Project comprises

 

Permanent works:

  • 1,140 meter north seawall;

  • 3,930 meter north breakwater;

  • 800 meter south breakwater;

  • unloading wharf and affiliated facilities;

  • 750 meter bank protection of wharf;

  • berthing facilities of harbor craft basin;

  • 490 meter south bank protection;

  • dredging works deepening up to EL.-18.0m for the waters of navigation channel and turning basin as well as to EL.-17.0m for the waters of berths and nearby;

  • reclaimed land including compaction and leveling for nearly 80 hectares;

  • 3,230 meter bank protection of warm water discharge channel;

  • shore protection works; as well as

Supplemental works:

  • Access roads, bridges, and culverts;

  • Navigation Aid System; and

  • Marine Meteorological System (including wind, tide, wave, current, etc.).
